Join Claire for this 30 minute yoga class centered around relaxation. We start with a box breathing exercise, to stimulate the vagus nerve and relax the nervous system. Then we do some neck and back stretches, find flow with bends and twists, and end with a restorative pose- legs up a wall. Props you may find useful: yoga mat, block, pillow, folded up blanket, cushion
New to yoga? How awesome! This class has a slow pace and focuses on some traditional poses you'll see in many yoga classes. We stay seated, and cover child's pose, cat/cow, calf/foot stretch, low lunge, hamstring stretch, seated forward fold, supine twist, and savasana.
This 45 minute slow flow class is mostly seated, and offers modifications. Grab your blocks and a bolster or pillow and enjoy the focus on satya- the yogic principle (niyama) of truthfulness. Listen to and honor your body! We also use the Kali Mudra and a mantra.
Take a few minutes (less than 5) to ground yourself and drop into the present moment. You will use your HANDS to practice mindfulness today!

Claire discusses why we need to pause and incorporate some stillness in our day to balance our energy.
